2015 Porsche Macan

We originally ordered a silver Macan S, through Carvana. But, after two delays because “they were working to bring the car to their standards”, we actually found a black Turbo and just went with that, instead. Which was probably the right move because, after 2 weeks they still haven’t fixed the silver S.

Black was not a color I wanted. Always found black to be a bit boring. It did have almost all the options I wanted: Seat Venting, Sport Chrono, Lane Keeping, etc. The only thing it was missing was adaptive cruise. However, retrofitting that won’t be an issue, since it already has lane keeping capabilities.

Since it was delayed, I had my mods before the car. I had ordered godspeed B8 air struts. Since theb8 and macan share a platform I figured it would be fine. And it would have, except the Macan has a few different front sturt mounts, and mine was a bit different. So, the godspeed airbags would not go low enough. I ended up scrapping those and went with UAS Aerosport bags in the front, I did design and print an alignment adapter for these.

The Macan came with 21″ 911 Turbo Design wheels, a $3100 option. And they had to go. Just before I decided to build the Teddys for the Model 3 I had ordered a set of 2pc 20″x9/10 Meshy for it. So the Meshy were siting around not doing anything, so I threw them on with some adapters and they worked!(having bigger adapters made for better fitment)
