Wabco Compressor

For years, I hated air ride and thought static was the only way to go. Maybe it is because I got older, maybe it is because I got smarter, but that changed when a beautiful bagged black S3 on copper wheels came into my shop. It clicked, I could have the height/look I wanted and still have a car I could drive everywhere.

However, I still dislike the noise of the compressor and the space it occupies. Accuair actually came up with the perfect solution, the Endo CT. It was an air tank with a built-in compressor. It was much faster than a single Viair compressor, and it was much quieter. But, it was also a flaming disaster. The compressor caught on fire in the tank twice on me. Accuair did repair it, and then they went out of business.

With a little research, we found the compressor that Accuair was using was actually a Wabco unit also used in Tesla Model S & X. So we bought a couple and got to work designing brackets to make use of them.
